Villufushi Mosque donated by Ibrahim Waheed

The mosque built through the donation of Mr. Ibrahim Waheed has been handed over to Islamic Ministry. It was handed over during a ceremony held at Islamic Ministry to Minister Dr. Ahmed Ziyad. This mosque, wholly funded by Mr. Ibrahim Waheed has a capacity of over 5000 people. It also has a library and classrooms for religious education and Quran classes. The Minister has stated that this will not only be a mosque, but an Islamic Center for the whole area. The Minister also stated that this is a great economic development for the island of Vilufushi.
