Nalahiya Trading is dedicated to its employees well-being and motivation, in their professional and personal lives. This is evident as many who are working here has been in the company for years and even decades. As a family business, the employees working in the company are also considered part of the Nalahiya Family. Our teams are dedicated to meeting the needs and challenges of all our customers.
Our Directors
The Board of Nalahiya Trading includes five Directors including four working Directors.
Ibrahim Waheed Ali founded the company in 1985 after fifteen years in the merchant navy. He is originally from the small island of Vilufushi. Throughout his life, he has held onto his deep seeded religious beliefs and determination.
Ismail Jumayyail Waheed completed his Bachelors in Business Administration specializing in International Marketing from Southern Cross University. He serves as the current Managing Director of Nalahiya Trading and Nalahiya Logistics.
Mohamed Jalal Waheed completed his Bachelors (Hons) in Business Administration from University of Bradford, UK. In 2017 Jalal completed his MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University. He is currently the CEO of Nalahiya Construction.
Zainab Jumaila Waheed completed a Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) at Raffles College of Design & Commerce, Singapore. In 2015 she completed her Masters in Interior Architecture and Design from the University for the Creative Arts, UK.
